Have you ever cooked a turkey on the grill???!

Question: How did it turn out, would you do it again???

Answers: How did it turn out, would you do it again???

We do our turkey on a charcoal Weber grill almost every Thanksgiving. This year we will be doing it with a brine from the Weber Big Book of Grilling, using the rotissere.

We have also done it with a grilling rack for poultry to hold the bird in place. The idea is to grill over an indirect-medium fire with a drip pan directly underneath the turkey.

There's a recipe for Classic Grilled Turkey below, along with a link with tips for cooking a turkey on a Weber grill.

Happy Thanksgiving!

good god that would take like 2 weeks

Nope always in oven...

yes,
they do it for us coworkers here at work
i think it is very good, and tasty.
I would if i knew how, they cook it here.

I have never done this. But it sounds like it would be pretty good. Usually anything is good grilled.

I haven't but the pilgrims did!

it was great and I would do it again

nope

if you have a large grill and tons of charcoal, maybe try it then

for Thanksgiving, cook it so you know it will be done and taste good

You can do it provided you have a high domed cover and a power rotisserie. It will take about 1 1/2 times more time then it takes in the oven. I do it in the oven, then put it on the grill for the last hour, much easier that way.
