I havent but my then 17 year old nephew had it happen to him. He spent 6 months in China teaching English in preparation for the Olympics. He must have been in a part of China that was not used to foriegners as he was treated like a major star. They had banquets in his honor attended by Party bigwigs, he appeared on TV commercials, in the street he was mobbed like a pop star. Then at the end of six months he came back home to the ordinary life of an 18 year old.
