Mine doesnt eat with us, but he's a member of the family. He's like the cranky old grandpa you have to take care of because no one else will--

nope, and actually i dont have a dog

don't have a dog, but, my cat, yes....

I don't have any pets.

I have a cat, and yes.

sleeping on bed-no
sitting on furniture-sure why not
eating the same food as you do- not to much

not everyone treats an animla like a human. but i kind of do. i mean my dog is part of my family. he sits on the couches, he sleeps on the bed. i even give him some of my food at dinner. and sometimes i give him the foam from my coffe on sundays.i am only a teenager and i spoil my dog as if he was a normal human. lol

I allow my dog to sleep on the bed and sit on the couch... but eating human food..... heckno! do you know how bad some of our food is for dogs? but to answer your question. Yes I do. i love my dog as if she was my child.

My daschunds (weenie dogs), Zoe and Bailey, get treated like the rest of the family.

...they sleep on the bed.

...they sit on the furniture.

...they do not eat the same food because it isn't very good their little bodies, but they do eat when we do.

...they watch tv.

...they get bathed on a regular basis.

...they get birthdays and christmas presents too.

...they get total attention when they are sick and feeling under the weather.

They are absolutely amazing, loyal, and intelligent pets. They have brought so much love into our family and it only seems proper to treat them like one of us!

Some may say its crazy, but when pets can bring so much happiness to the whole family....why not give them all that love in return? :)

yes, you should do that. your dog will cooperate with you better than not!

I have 4 dogs, so they are a large part of my life.

Yes, they sometimes sit on the furniture if I invite them to. They have their own beds. They're usually more comfortable there. Besides I snore and would probably keep them awake.

I eat too much junk. It wouldn't be good for my dogs. However, sometimes they enjoy a pancake breakfast with me. And, when I cook rice I usually make some extra for them. But, they like their food. I buy quality stuff without cereal and by-products.

yes and no

1 small dog and 1 cat are allowed on SOME of the furniture (never ever on the tables and never ever on the kitchen counters, ICK), and they usually sleep on the bed, but do get moved off sometimes if they're taking up too much room, it is *my* bed after all.

Our big dog doesn't get to do any of that, but she does get to sleep inside.

All of them might get small bites of human food when we're done eating if they have been quiet while we eat, but mostly they get the best food for them that we can afford so they can be as healthy as we can get them.

My family only dreams of getting treated this good! Just kidding. Yes to all 3!

My dog does me a world of good so she gets a lot of privileges. I cook special food for her with nutrients, etc. added.

She is a Pug and very short so I had to get rid of my bed and have a platform bed built to her height requirements. I have a custom made mattress system so it is not so tall for her. She is the most loving dog and loyal to a fault and deserves a great life.

I don't consider her a human but a companion. Dogs are very social and they want to be a part of family life; eating, sleeping, playing, protecting. I am a very maternal person and I mother everyone like this.

he has his own bed (not allowed on ours)
the only chair he's allowed to sit on is mine
he only gets dog food not people food
he has a raincoat and a sweater
he gets christmas and birthday presents

Sorry,I don't have a dog,but I treat my cat that way.
