Given that set of variables, I would certainly let my bff get on the life boat.

I would let my bff take it no matter what our ages or chances of succeeding. I have lived a great life due to my friends and other people should have the chance to have that same friendship....so I would put them on a boat and wave goodbye with a smile!

Well, I don't call alot of people friends at all because I know what a real friend is, u dig? with that being said I treat all my friends as if they were born into my family. That being said, regardless of their age or future, I wouldn't offer them the seat, I WOULD INSIST that they take it.
Tough decision it is to choose between yourself and someone you love sometimes. Pray I never have tomake a decision like that.
