Question: The Q-Tip when cleaning your ears or just lightly rub it around the opening of your ear, they say not to insert in ear canal, but I feel my ear is not truly clean if I do not insert it a little of the way to remove maximum amount of grossness!!

LOL... you should never shove it... that sounds painful. I just graze it..
I know I shove it in my ear canal everytime I take a shower I hope I haven't damaged my ears, but I think it feels really good.

my uncle was shoving it in once and he damaged his ear or whatever and now he's deaf in that ear :S
no one in our family will ever stick a q-tip in their ear ever again.
You have to be careful when you put anything in your ears. You might actually be pushing the wax back into your ear and creating a plug that will only harden and cause problems.
in to the hilt, it sucks when the cotton stays in there though
it's not good to insert as you may end up pushing the earwax even deeper into your ear...
