it would depend on the situation. there are alot of things we think we could never do...but given the right circumstances we find we give in to reality. in the case of the Donner Party or the Andes survivors there was no other source for food, so it was quite literally "do or die"

If I were starving, and they were already dead, then yes. I couldn't kill someone to eat them, though, even if I were starving to death. I'd rather die.

I am thinking I wouldn't. I mean what would happen once you ran out of friends to eat? You are only prolonging death and even if you are found you would be labeled as a cannibal. That said, if you could hold off and be found you could get one crazy TV Movie Contract and book contracts and the possibilities are endless.
Truth is I would rather try and find another way or accept the fate and die.
While we might think we know what we would or would not do when speculating about a last resort, I don't think any of us truly know until we are actually in the situation asked about. The will to live is stronger in some of us than it is in others. I do know, without a doubt, if a loved one was with me in a life-threatening situation I would DO ANYTHING to keep them alive and as safe as possible. ANYTHING!
No. Probably by the time I realized I needed serious food, the bodies would be spoiled. I know how to hunt, so I'd go for fresh kill. Plus, I'd hate to be rescued and then the families of the victims find out I ate their relatives! Eck! Bad Karma.
