Always. It's not a case of wondering if I should ask, but making sure I ask the question in a manner which elicits good responses. Sometimes, after writing the question, I realise that there's a better way to phrase it - or that maybe I'm approaching the question the wrong way. After all, I won't get good responses if people think I'm trying to be offensive or insulting, or if they think my mind's made up before I even ask.
