We can't because people are so different in so many ways from religion (biggest reason) to politics and right down to toilet seat up or down we find a reason to have an argument or a war. It would be good if we could come together and strive to improve the world as one but I fear it is the most difficult thing to achieve.

There is simply no answer and solution to this.
There was a question about what would happen in the next 100 years answer extended somewhat is people will have been dead after having fought over food and water. Planet will be dead as if nothing had ever been alive on it. On another more optimistic note If Greed were seen in the same light as a religion made into one and separated from Humanity this could approach the goal. As to a religious small problem a God can neither be fought nor tried for warcrimes or terrorism. If it can be seen that this God Allah by name is a tool to do so a Criminal Tool made use of throughout history under two different names a Tool which can be tried for warcrimes and convicted peace will be even closer. If both God and Allah were convicted it can be seen there is no morality in God and neither to be found in Greed. Next do with Greed what took centuries to change with The Christian Religion. Have validity challenged and refuted then Greed will be tried after which a second dose of disbelief will be added for reinforcement of non belief. Next make cartoons making fun of how uptight people are make fun of Capitalism and Corporations and Marxism in light hearted way. make fun of addiction to oil.,human egocentricity, Chopping down rain forests not so lighthearted, and cartoons made about Over Population.
Because we are humans although we preach to unify the world its a pipe dream because someone wants to be top dog. like George Orwell's animal farm.
