Did you do YOUR duty?!

Question: And say THANK YOU to a veteran or active duty serviceman today. It's because of their sacrifice that you and I enjoy the freedoms we have.......Hate the war, but don't hate the Service men and women please....

(Yes, I know Veterans Day was the 11th)

My husband is overseas and yes i tell I am proud of him eeveryday! My father is vietnam vet I called him and told him thanks!!

I agree with you Thanks are in order to all of the service men and women who defend our country at one point or another and for the future ones too.

We are celebrating Vets. Day today, so the timeing is right! No, I was not in the armed service, but I do appreciate all that they do to keep us safe here at home!

I use to always call my dad on this day but he is dead now and I miss him..he was a war vet

I live in a place where we have a lot of Military Bases. I always fly my American flag every day, as my way of saying thanks.

They are all wonderful people past and present. Where would we be without them. God bless you all.

I tell them every chance I can how much it is appreciated and how much I enjoy my freedom alomg with everything else. Thank you veterans!

My whole family including myself served in the Military and its the holidays and special family functions that really make being away from family and friends the hardest. don't just thank them on the two holidays that they have but thank them everyday

4 years in the Air Force

No, I enjoy the freedoms I do today as a result of the American Revolution, which was in 1776, and those guys are long dead.

My freedom has only been compromised by my own government since then. Only our SENSE of security has been compromised by outside forces, but its our own government that manipulates this fear to lessen our freedom.

I'd also like to point out, Soldiers are sworn to defend against enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC. So why don't they? Why are my "patriotic" countrymen so willing to remain complacent in loosing their freedom, in voting, in actually doing anything to stop the degradation of our Constitution? I wonder.

Yes
