When you actually have their attention...
Sometimes you can from their tone and choice of words... but some adults are not adults themselves...
So you can't really - unless you ask for the age of the answerer and assume that they're being honest with you.
You cant, unless they say how old they are in the answer.
you can't really. some of them are so darn mature and brilliant that they sound just like an adult.
Hopefully it's the people with the most atrocious spelling, the worst grammar, and the least sensible answers, but I'm afraid that's NOT the case!

Spelling is a good sign though.
Because they can't spell. Or its all text speak wiv lots ov wird abrevis that we dunt get!
When poorly punctuated,and spelled answers are given.
Also if they just ,really ,have no idea what they are talking about.
Plus if slang is used. That's usually a good sign.

hmmm.....how can you tell you aren't a child asking questions?
There is no 100% way of telling! However, the strength of the answer, the language used, the spelling, etc. could give us a fairly good idea as to the answerer!!!
I don't think I can tell, unless they say something that gives themselves away........but at least they are on Yahoo answers, and not a porn site
