How did you feel the first time you drove your brand new car?!

Mostly fear! haha..but after a few minutes happiness!
Fear, insecurity and responsibility at the same time.
Just a Jeep - fun didn't start till I brought it off road.
I felt a lot of excitement and a sense of freedom at the same time.

I've never owned a brand new car. I have always been delighted to drive a brand new rental, or brand new friend's car, though. I am also happy whenever I get a car that is new to me, though belonged to someone else before.
Screwed by the dealer, I haven't bought a new one since.
OMG -- my first car was a brand new 1980 Camaro Berlinetta. I was moving to Ohio, so I had it delivered there and had to wait WEEKS to see it before I got there! It was a GORGEOUS car, dark blue with a T-top, the kind of car that got compliments at traffic lights! I was ON TOP OF THE WORLD when I first drove that car!! It was a fabulous car, exactly right for someone just out of college and starting a career!

Like I could "get used to this", that feeling you get when you upgrade to a much nicer vehicle, but guilty because my family had to get me another one when my old one gave out, which was a gift from my mom. I guess I don't realise I'm pretty lucky.
My first brand new car was a gift from my dad! The sentiments and emotions besides that of feeling all grown up was... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
