Question: There's a place by me called Squan Tavern, they have really good food and it has that kind of anyone is welcome, sit down at the bar and watch the game theme: it has a nice, kinda down hom-ish atmosphere.

Don't laugh ~ Beefy King. Dammit they have the best BBQ sandwiches you have ever eaten. And fine sweet tea. Mmm mmm but they closed on Sunday..grrr.

There's a local restaurant called "Nikki's West" that has some of THE best lunch specials, in terms of variety and quality, in the entire state of Alabama. It's the ONLY place I've ever seen that does roast lamb for lunch (though I can do without the mint jelly).

The Horseshoe Pub. Good food, good prices, & nice atmosphere. It's a good date restaurant, but also a place that I like to go to with my mom & dad.
