At what age did you finally grasp that there are people who are really smarter t!
Question: Admittedly, ive never been one of the smarter ones. But it was in college that i finally accepted that some people just had an innate ability to think faster and deeper than I could. I also realized that a lot people were slower than me and couldnt think as deeply as I could. I was 20.

Never, I reject reality and my delusions remain intact.

Yeah..that was a sad moment in my life.. still having a hard time coming to terms with it.
You don't have to think that way. Realize that there are people who are smarter but that you can learn from and even be smarter than one day of you put your mind to it. It's all about how much effort you are willing to expend.
When I was 23.
About 6th grade
I was about four...I was terribly impressed with a 6th grader I knew, and my only goal that year was to prove I was as smart as him. It didn't work, but by the end of the year I could do simple addition and could read at the 2nd grade level, so I guess it helped a little.

i have always felt smart in my younger years, i learned how to speak 2 different languages in a year and half. Arabic and English and my main language is Kurdish. but i have always known that there are smarter people then me. i just have the ability to do things that other people cant that are smarter then me.
when I took chemistry...I realized that I "can" do almost anything, but that some things would be a LOT more work for me than they are for some other people

Um, what do you mean? I've always known that there were people smarter than me, as well as those who weren't. I wasn't raised by parents who tried to promote narcissism or egotistical maniacs LOL.
But rather was taught, that everybody has something good about them that they can do very well, and that you don't have to be the best at everything, but to find what you're good at, and do it wholeheartedly. Though my parents both did reinforce to my brother and i that we were very smart. Which, we are LOL. I've always known that i was smart, but i've also known that there are a ton of people smarter than me.
Like, for example, okay at the start of 3rd grade i was on a 7th grade reading level, (and 9th grade level by the end of the year) but couldnt do simple fractions LOL. I always had to stay on whatever the highest level reader was because they didnt have appropritate programmes for me. The only reason i didnt get into the mentally gifted programme in school, in 4th grade was because i couldn't do basic math. [i had changed schools much and never learned the fundamentals] Although i passed with incredibly high scores on everything else on the test. Some of the highest. I was sad about it, and cried, lol, but my mom told me that it was okay, that i was still smart LOL.
So whatever, i know that i am smart, and there are others that are smarter. But It doesn't bother me, as i'm not in competition with them, i'm happy being myself. THOUGH i will admit, there are some days i feel very stupid ROFL, especially first thing in the morning without any coffee! ROFL i can't even spell ROFL, *dur* but i think we all feel dumb somedays. ?
last Friday, i am 18 right now and in college. i realized this when my friend graduated valedictorian in our college with a 3.9. she was a double major biochem and English and got accepted to medical school. yeah thats basically when i said to myself no matter how hard you try you can never be that smart and successful.. doesn't do much for my confidence but its reality.
