I have had the talk with all 3 of my girls. I was very direct about how a couple has sex. I also told them that while they are really grossed out now (one of them threatened to throw up) as their bodies grew they were going to find themselves really conflicted as to what they should do. In their heads they want to wait until they are married to have sex...in their bodies they are going to be saying this feels good...i want to do it. I told them that I cannot make that decision for them. I really want them to wait until they are married to have sex but if they choose not to they need to come to me and tell me before they do so I can make sure they have protection. I am in no way advocating teen sex..but I want to make sure they are prepared if they choose to do so.
