BTW: The electric cord: there are electric cord protectors on the market that will prevent your pet from chewing through the cord.

I guess there's that myth of their 9 lives, because they always seem to land on their feet no matter how far they fall from.

Cats are nearly indestructible...except for when they bite electrical cords.

I'm so sorry. Maybe your cat defied death 8 other times that you didn't know about. My cat got into so many cat fights and he finally got killed, so who knows? Good luck, ;)
