What do you consider higher than average income?!

Question: include your state, if you don't mind.

Answers: include your state, if you don't mind.

Midwest and I would consider, hum maybe 100k yearly a higher then average income. Isnt the national average around 60k for a family?

Im from Canada (Alberta) and I would consider anything over $50 000 to be higher than average

the national average for a household income is 40k, so 50k and up is higher.

i think U.S. average is like $50K for middle class, so anything over $100K is higher than average...

i'd say $60K; oregon.

"In 2006, the median annual household income according to the US Census Bureau was determined to be $48,201." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Household_i...

70K+
San Antonio, Texas

For an individual? 60K a year and up.

Here in Florida, 40 to 50K a year is average 'household income.'

'Rich,' or 'well off,' starts around 100K.

Of course, that can be quite fluid, depending on the size of benefits packages and the like. I'm speaking of 'regular, taxable income.'
