I actually do put them on mute. my face goes blank or I stare at the wall, and I never hear what is said to me. .... but I'm sure a punch in the throat is more effective. lol

Well I kind of put them on mute... I eat lunch with 3-4 other women and if one of them is babbling about something I don't care about/don't want to hear, I tend to ignore them completely.
And yes, I do want to punch them in the throat.

I do...punch in throat, kick their leg and trip them...they're knocked out, problem solved. I have a lot of crazy people that I know, and I see no other way.....
I just pretend that I'm about to chunder all over them. That always weirds them out...It also gives you the leverage to tell them to shut it.

The "mute" button is a great idea! Just press "mute" and you "see" them but don't "hear" them! But no, never punch them in the throat. Not unless you want Karma to come back and get YOU! whew!

OMG, this is exactly how I felt last night!! A friend of my boyfriend's kept telling me the same thing over and over and was getting on my last nerve!!! I just sat there and gave him blank stares or didn't even pay attention to him.
