Which Metallica album is the best?!
Question: I am still having trouble with this one. Two days ago I was convinced that Master of Puppets was the best. Yesterday, I absolutely knew that Kill 'em All was. Today I know in my heart ...and Justice for All really is their best album. Some will try and say Ride the Lightning is the best, with good reason. All other answers will be summarily ignored.

Metallica was great until they became rock stars. Kill em all imo is the only Metallica album worth listening to.

I'm torn between Ride the Lightning & Master of Puppets.
I have to go with Master of Puppets on this one. Because it was the last of the classic style of Metallica. After that they started trying to go more mainstream. Nothing wrong with that, they still rock. But the sound definitely changed. Not better or worse, just different.
