Would you ever forgive someone who bullied you?!

Question: Sure...I would....I was in a foster home as a child and this one boy brutally picked on me when the bus would pick me up/drop me off in front of the home...It's strange, but a few years ago I got a letter from this man saying how sorry he was that he put me through all the torment...He told me that he and his wife keep foster children...I wrote him back saying all is well and forgiven...I do wish him well.

No way.

probably not

sure, forgive and forget; but only if they apologize, of course

My grade school bully is still around, works in the same industry as I do, and is still a raging b*tch! But now everyone knows it and no one likes working with her. You can only get away with being a jerk in grade school. That's the best revenge.

If they genuinely were sorry.Yes, I think I would.

If I saw that the person really made and honest-to-god change for the better, I think I would, It's happened to me before. It's not like we became BEST friends but the person was a lot nicer to me and other people.

It really depends who the person is.

I am trying.

It's not so much "forgiving" or even "forgetting" because I don't know if I can ever really do that, but it's more like I'm trying to move on from it.

It's been many years now and I am no longer being abused, still, it's hard, but, like I said, I'm trying to move on.
