no. to many snitches on here who will just add you so they can report you. like last night. I allowed fans for about a hour to see what would happen. i asked
what kind of ice cream is currently in your frig. one guy went on giving everyone a thumbs down telling me if i didn't pick up he'd report me. i didn't pick him..i was reported..don't know why..i got a violation.
it was obvious it was him. he must have worked for yahoo. that's all i can think of

I have absolutely nothing to hide from anyone, either on Answers or out in the real world... I like that there are people on this site that might be interested in what I have to say.

I my case they answer and try to make me understand what I am asking and what is the truth of the matter.
I do. I feel like someone is actually reading what I have to say. Most of them share my views on things as well.
I only like the people I know. I block the others. Let's just say that I've learned to be careful.
I blocked it cuz my unloyal fans....kept getting my questions deleted. =/
Yes. When someone adds me as their contact, it makes me happy.

Of course I like it :) It's a great way to get your questions out there and keep track of it all. "Oh, look! This question looks interesting...I like this girl. I think I'll add her as a contact so I can answer more of her questions." - I don't see the harm in that. I appreciate the answers. I've even made some friends on Yahoo! Answers who I chat with almost daily. In my opinion Answers is a networking site where you can get real answers from real people almost instantly. Let's take advantage of that ;)

...I loved having contacts and fans, but, recently one of my "fans" slung public insults at me while answering one of my questions (the question was a very innocent one, at that)...this same person had previously sent me an email asking to be my fan, so I accepted...boy, was I sorry...after that, I just put a stop to it...not worth the heartache
