Where do I fit in?!
Question: Im way to cool to hang out with the typical college virgin geeks, but Im not cool enough to bag me a stoner skater. Im not sure what to do. Should I settle for the geeks that still live with their mommies, or should I start flashing the skateboarders in hopes of getting a date?

Wow ... You are far to smart to be here, yet it took me years to understand so I guess no one is exempt from doubt.
You tend to be more technical, more knowledgeable and more questioning of life and this is what some people call "Geek's". Does this make you a geek? No! Just because you use your brain for something rather than spending hours a day shopping, primping and worrying about looking hot...
You are hot! Hot in your own way.
So you need to be YOU and no one else. Only you may decide what "YOU" are. What was it? Unto your own self be true or something....
Now, you want to meet some guys and you want them to be more active, trendy. Seemingly more of the “IN GROUP”. Easy to do.
Walk right up and ask one of them to teach you about the boarding, or say something like: Hey dude I am board, what is cool and a rush? It is engaging in communication with the guys that is limiting you. Don’t change yourself, learn about others by meeting them. Don’t be afraid of embarrassing yourself and don’t go at it with an agenda of picking someone up. Go with the idea of exploring, learning, having fun and meeting new people. The idea of trying new things that are a bit of a rush…
If you go at it with the agenda of meeting guys, that is what you will project when you are out there. So do it to find some adventure and if you meet someone on the way all the better.
Oh Ya, be careful of this because you could find yourself into adventure that is stupid and not an exciting rush…

I wouldn't worry too much you will find your place, for now I'd suggest you just relax and go nude sunbathing on the quad.
I'm sure you're not the only one in your "category". Join a club doing something you find interesting and you'll meet other people like yourself. Even if you don't stay in the club, you still might meet someone interesting! Good Luck !

Who says your not cool enough. I'm one of the stoners. 'Cept the skater part, I'm can't skate anymore since I broke my ankle. 'Cause the Doc says if I break it again they might just AMPUTATE my FOOT. Skatins fun but not that fun.
