Seriously though, if you can get a correlation in it's head that says what he did was wrong without excessively hurting him, or putting his life in jeapordy, then it's ok. I throw mine in a sink full of water. Doesn't hurt him, but pisses him off.
also, if you don't show them as they are doing it, they will see it as random violence, make sure that you can illustrate to it what it did was wrong, or yes you will be acting unjustly.
