Do you usually make your point and move on, or hammer it in?!

Question: Which is more necessary with the typical retard?

I can spend hours reiterating and explaining and specifying precisely what I mean... just to have someone not grasp it anyway.

I think its important to get the full story. If you understand the point... and you better make sure you do... then feel free to ignore the rest. If you dont understand the full story or otherwise cannot respect the asker enough to do so... then dont bother wasting peoples time.

People respond with answers longer than the question asked. Some just like to hear their own voice... egocentric. Arrogant people will sound their opinions without even caring if its applicable.

When I have a problem worthy of asking complete strangers... I think it deserves elaboration. Self-respecting... since not all problems are the same and I am not everyone else... so cater to my individuality.

Any problem worth being asked on YA is a problem that requires a little background and compassion.

And I dont want to hear one-liner answers, either... because that doesnt give me any confidence in people. Binary responses are meaningless to me... my problems are more complex than a mere word.

Point gamers do that crap. Who cares about your problems... here is my generic all-purpose answer... that anyone could pull out of their asss. I dont need to hear your details... since when do they matter? What? I didnt even read what you had to say... but here is my opinion anyway.

Whether its YA or real life... it doesnt matter. Hear me out and help me or go screw yourself. I dont need advice from people like that.

Yes

hammer it

i keep drilling man! then i ask whomever "do you understand" and wait for them to say yes..if they dont i keep hammering my point!

Depends on the circumstances. Sometimes, the people you're talking to just don't seem to "get it", so I make sure they do. Plus, if I'm a bit angry, I have a tendency to get in someone's face and stay there.

On here, I make my point using transitional phrases and find some linear way of ending what I'm saying. However, in real life, I tend to beat a point in the ground, re-hashing it until everyone is sick of listening to me. I suppose that's a pretty bad habit if I want people to like me.

all three...i am such a brutal person when it comes to action and words

usually (but not always) make it and move on. some drunks are deaf, though, and it takes several repetitions and the threat of jail time to get the point across.

All depends on who i'm talking to,some people are slower than others

I believe people are going to believe what they want so I'd just be wasting my time arguing a point. Talk is cheap, actions are expensive. Say what you have to say and if you dont agree, fook you!

yes i just hammer it in why not ?

hammer it

I try to make my point, never hammer it. I don't want others to tell me I am right just to make me shut up, I want that they think on what I have said. If they don't want to, they are free to think otherwise.

i make sure people no i made a point

Well I'm not very wordy, but I would say that I take my time and answer the question properly, but I am a woman of few words. I guess there are two ways to look at it....hammer or make a point who knows???? Of course if no one appreciated my answer, than it would be pointless....I guess if I went on and on with my answer people would stop reading an get aggravated, and if they told me to hush,,,i would because i don't like to ramble on and on..........so I am going to hush now...because I am not one to ramble....to the point yeah, that's me.....

get the point.......... hee hee

Yes
