What is unique about the town you live in?!

The food. it is like no other.

It hosts the Kentucky Derby of Cycling every memorial day.

I'm the lone Irishwoman. Everyone is Polish. My man and son are Polish. Even my landlord is Polish.

This big city has a way of making everything that we should be PROUD of, something that we are all ASHAMED of.

We have whore houses, casinos and the national bowling stadium all within ten minutes of each other....

The fields we have lots and lots of countryside but the towns (Durham,Newcastle) are like ten minutes away so you can always get out of the countryside that's about it, nothing really unique

Well, the little town I used to live in has a tomato painted on the water tower and has its own Tomato Festival every summer. The city i live in now celebrates Peanuts. The National Peanut Festival is going on right now, and you can see peanut statues everywhere year round. Some are dressed up like Elvis, some are farmers, some are just gold peanuts. And city is a circle- no matter where you leave from, you always end up in the same place.

Everybody knows eachother. I mean EVERYBODY. It is not unusual for you to see someone you know when you go to the grocery store or something.

The Indy 500!! And the superbowl champions for 2006!

My town of 35,000 has the most eclectic mix of ethnicities and religions of any place I've ever lived, including cities of a couple million people.

You learn not just tolerance but how alike we all are, when you live like this.

Lots of historical stuff like George Washington built a fort here.
It's a beautiful place,....right SMACK in the crime ridden ghetto!

Tecumseh, Michigan....refrigeration capital of the world......you said unique, not interesting LOL And a bunch of out-of-towners and out-of-staters come for the antique stores and our annual Appleumpkin Festival.

It's built along the Kalamazoo River, we have an Old Iron Bridge. Some of the stores are built close to the river and the town put up a walkway along it. It's really pretty in that area of town. The river by the walkway has fountains that shoot up out of the river, sometimes it's lit up at night. It's also very pretty in the winter with all the snow.
