A deserted island would work for me. I would hope to have a water source, some shelter and a way to harvest some kind of food. But it would get lonesome.

I *am* stranded in the middle of nowhere, practically. I'm in a small town, and the next large town is two hours east, four hours north, or five hours west.
deserted island sounds alright. I'd get a hell of a tan and would catch up on my sleep. Can I have a volley ball, too?

well i would suffocate in the moon, I would not be able to leave the island. I think i would rather be stranded in the middle of nowhere because i could eventually find a town by walking. : )
The moon, you have a certain amount of time to be rescued, and if not...your toast. Middle-of-nowhere, there's always groups of hillbillies wanting to take you prisoner. The island sounds just about right...show me how to be a man! I could be a cast away.

I LIVE in the middle of no where. I would like to go in to space so I will say "the Moon". It wouldn't matter much...wherever I was I would merely take out a deck of cards, deal a hand of solitare and in short order some fool would come along to tell me to move the red___ onto the black___. ;-))
