If we had kids then I'd say unless he was abusive I was obligated to make the best of it until they were up and out and stay with him whether I liked it or not. I'd try to encourage him to whip it into shape.

It honestly depends on what YOU look like yourself. If you are like that, or even uglier, than stay with him/her. Also, it depends on if you love him because of his additude or not. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
