I first pulled it back in a half pony, with my side bangs swept across my face, and then I pulled the hair that was hanging down back into a mess bun. Then I sprayed some spray that gives your hair a curl, so my messy bun is kind of curly too. Sorry if you don't understand this, it is just kind of hard to explain...

Down and straight. It is just below my arm pits so when it is wet, I put it up in a clip so when it is dry, it seems thicker and has a bit of a wave to it. :)
