If I didn't know them, then no. I don't feed homeless people.
I also don't believe half of these people. If you've ever been to a big city, did you feed every homeless person you saw who was asking for food? I seriously doubt it. I understand that some people do, but not that many..

I would do the best I could for the person. They say the best thing to do is take them for a meal so that they don't spend the money on drugs and drink. When we have so much, it hurts to see when someone doesn't.
My husband and I use to run the food bank and were in a very good position to help people with food vouchers, etc.

If I knew for a fact that they were actually looking for food, I would help.
But the people begging for money.. the only reason I wouldn't give to them.. is how do you know to trust them? What if they're just gonna buy drugs or alcohol with it?

I already did--there was this older man digging through the garbages, never begged, never loitered, never saw him drink. I saw him for a month (it's a strip mall so I go to one of the stores a lot) and went up to him and told him he "dropped" this 20 dollar bill. He was TRUTHFUL and said "No I didnt drop that" and I asked him to please take it and he did. I hope I didn't embarrass him but he was eating a rotten peach and you could see his ribs. I hope he had a nice meal.

I would absolutely stop. I can't stand to see anyone in need and I have what they need and not provide it. Im that person that carries extra blankets and umbrellas and I'll pull over and give an umbrella in the rain or a blanket when its cold.I have a genuine love and concern for people, all people .
Yes. It hurts me to see starving people. It hurts me to see anyone homeless. If anyone walks up to me and asks for help, I usually help. If someone asks me to buy them food, I never say no. I have actually been in this situation where I was homeless, living in my car and starving but I couldn't ever bring myself to ask anyone for help so I just starved. It didn't get to the point of some of the homeless people or I would have. I got myself out of it thank God but some people are less fortunate :(
Yes I would...and I actually have many times! I have bought and given them some food and I have given them money to buy themselves something to eat! I think you always should if you possibly can! Not only because it is the right thing to do, but you have to think...what if this person is an angel in disguise and this a test! Do you really want to have to explain that one to your maker if you say no or do nothing to help them????? =D

Well yes I would. I was brought up that if you have it to spare give. even if you don't have give somthng. I have done this in the past and have ben blessed 10 x like God said he would do for you. If more people was like this . The world would be better off. I know when i went through a rough time one year. It was when my mom passed away and husband lost his job two days later. It was coming up on the holiday and we got help. I helpd people before that happened to me. Now i help as much as can.
