Yes, I don't understand why. I thought if you do improvments on your home u should get compensated or some kind of a break for keeping it nice. they should tax the people that have dirty and ugly yards.....
i feel for ya.....Here in Virginia, what now costs around 175k was available for 70k 8 years ago....the taxes SUCK

Amen! Have you ever read all the different taxes they put on a phone or utility bill?The Oompa Loompa reserve, the Joe needs a new hairpiece tax, the Environmental Beautication tax (that'll go directly into the new housing project 4 blocks down!) Highway robbery would less costly!
The government can do any thing that they want to. And that is why we rebelled against the british. It won;t be long, until we do it again.
Oh baby I feel your pain. It is amazing what a jump they can make each time you get the bill. Here in VA we pay taxes on everything,house,vehicles,etc.They offer a vehicle tax relief but the bill is still ridiculous and they even tax the hell out of my Harley too.I guess I could take it better if I saw the money being used in the community.Commuting here is a nightmare,the roads suck,and they cut money from our schools.Which is bad because I have three school aged children and I work for the school.It is just outrageous.
