Answers: I imagine it as if it were a movie and I was looking through a camera lens.

no, I imagine that a friend is telling me the story.

When I read A Series of Unfortunate Events books, I picture myself in the lives of the three very unfortunate Bouldelaire children. :]
I don't read much.

I imagine myself as the main character, or whoever the narrator is. Just from the point of view that the author presents.

sometimes

I often do, and it's interesting which ones I identify with each time. Is it the main character, or the most likeable one, or the one that's most like me, or the one I wish i was more like?

That can be one of the signs of a good book that a writer will try to create. By making the character into one that many can identify with, the writer involves the reader, pulling them into the story.

I don't read those books.

As a Christian, there are sooooo many good edifying books out there, why read a novel?
