Have you ever worked in a store on Black Friday?!
Question: Many years ago - OMG. In a lay-away dept. The other girl I was working with had a melt down and layed down on the conveyor belt in the back and rode it upstairs with the packages and cried. She left me downstairs with a line (aka 'angry mob') to the front of the store....that was the real Nightmare before Christmas let me tell you - never ever again.

no :| im to yougn to have a job. but i go shopping with my mother on black friday and its awesome!!! i get christmas presents on black firday!!! its better than thanksgiving!!! but it must be terrible for the workers :|
Yes! I remember when one year the lines were from one end of the store all the way to the other. It's a big store: Burlington Coat Factory if you're familiar with it. Thank Goodness I don't work retail anymore! It was kinda funny to see all the people so irritated like....umm you didn't KNOW it was going to be crowded hehe. My line moved the quickest...I was just being competetive and wanted to be the best cashier....lol. It realllly wears one out though. I couldn't see straight after a while---Emergency sugar rush needed on register 5 please!
OHH...YESSSSSSSSSSS. I use to be an assistant manager of a clothing store. Terrible memories.
My first job (I had just graduated from high school a few months earlier) was working at Steinmart in the shoe department (don't laugh - I got AMAZING discounts on awesome shoes) and had to work on Black Friday. Let's just say it's the reason I only worked in retail for a few months.
