I actually have not lost anything there and want to keep it that way...
some people don't have the money to take a trip to Vegas, that includes me! Not all americans are wealthy.
i don't gamble. it's on the otherside of the country.
Because it approximates my idea of hell, with a lot of sleaze and money-worship and artificiality. That's the impression I get from the TV and from friends who have been there, anyway. I'm sure there are a lot of nice normal people who live there too.
I have a bunch of other places I'd rather spend my vacation time and money on visiting! The world is full of beautiful places to see, and Las Vegas doesn't even get onto my list, let alone near the top. I'd rather visit.. Thailand, Scandinavia, Israel, the Arctic or Antarctic, Tasmania where I have relatives, China, which looks so beautiful in the movie "Crouching Tiger"... etc etc etc
I went but it was really brief. I am going back, I have family out there too.

I have learned in my lifetime...The grass is not greener on the other side....It's just all the places I really wanted to go....Just wasn't what I thought it would be....I don't much care for the noise, lights and craziness....I prefer and love the country, peacefullness and enjoying nature......
