We live in a society that at some point decided it is undesireable to get angry. But anger is only a human emotion, maybe i'll start telling women they can't cry anymore. Itr makes about as much sense
I think I'm the only one who understands how you feel. Yes, I would like to beat them up, but depending on how mad I might get, it could turn into something I hadn't intended. The reason people want you to calm down is because they don't want you do to something foolish or something that you'll regret later in life. I had to find that out the hard way.
The only time I tell anyone to calm down is when it looks like they're going to act irrationally...other than that anger is a natural human emotion just like love or sadness.

prehaps they recognise that they are angry and that being angry has a major impact on their life so they dont want you to be angry because it will affect your life.... or prehaps they just want to make themselves feel better by helping you.lol
