So where are the Trick or Treaters this year?!

I think they all came to my house. So far, I've gone through 10 bags of candy.

In my neighborhood the only street that everybody is on is a huge but crowded street. It is the most popular. I live right across the golf course from it and nobody comes. People don't even buy candy anymore. We never get any people :(.
i don't know, i went knocking on doors giving away candy. that's how bad it was.
Where are they there in the closet thinking about HALOWEEN that there irresponsible parents took them too.
Eh, it's possible that cavities/sex offenders/the possibility of bombing/TV/video games/homework/parents are keeping the kids from going out/trick or treating... haha... just a guess...
you had six more than me.i think it's safer for them to just go to the malls or have a party instead.

i had about 2500 tricker treaters.
I live in the south...tonight is CHURCH night...usually they cancel Halloween if it's a CHURCH night...so I know why theres none here...
We live in the Eastern Time Zone. Weather today was PERFECT for Trick or Treat, clear, dry and 68 degrees! BUT we had half our candy left......and THAT was after we were giving the kids that came 2 and 3 pieces each!
HELP!!!!! I need to get rid of this candy fast!
stand outside the door until all the candy is gone and then you can go inside and have a cold beer and you can feel a sense of accomplishment.

Whew, boy -- same thing here. We think it's because it's Wednesday (middle of the week), and all the kids have school tomorrow.
There WAS a mob down at the community celebration, so maybe they're more organized & giving out more candy this year -- meaning, more kids are participating in the "safe" Halloweens & not going door-to-door?
I think alot of the trick or treaters are going to be
going to those church parties for safety sake.
That's why I stopped because of all of the scares of
drugs and needles and blades.
Miss all the fun though since I love candy!!!
I have lived in 7 different places over the last 12 years, and have seen maybe 30 kids in all that time, and havent see any in the last 5 years and 3 towns
The smart ones are at the mall!!!! If I give you my address will you send me the left over candy!?

This yr I bought NO candy, shut off my lights and tried to have a quiet not sp00ky eve. but no, they come anyway...ringing my door bell....OMG...go away little monsters! I have no candy!
They ring and ring and I'm hiding in my office feeling very guilty and like a Halloween Scrooge! lol
As a mother of a 5 year old I think I most parents opt to take their children to parties, church events etc....
