sometimes, but when my 17 year old tries to act like he's my dad and tell me what to do i connect with him in a different way...
Yes actually I do. They're still young though so I doubt it'll last with the oldest much longer
I don't have children but I definitely connect with my nieces and nephews, they think I'm the cool aunt!!
Since I have no children of my own, and because I helped to raise my nieces and nephews I can honestly say that I have a very tight connection with all of them.
I try to at least but sometimes it is difficult seeing life through their eyes again - man I feel old *sigh*
