What is your policy on adding minors?!

Question: My policy is that I add them ONLY IF they're related to me. For instance, I have a 17-year-old niece-in-law and a 16 year-old cousin-in-law in my facebook...

Don't get me wrong, there are 16 or 17-year-olds on here who are about their stuff, real mature and give great answers! A 16-year-old earned BA on one of my recent questions, priceless stuff!! And I told him the only reason I didn't add him was b/c he wasn't 18.

P.S. They wanted to put this on Law & Ethics. I understand, though...

If I knew someone was well under 18, I wouldn't add them. However, sometimes I really do not know the exact age of users. I believe I have one contact who is a high school senior, but I don't know if she's 17 or 18. She's mature and intelligent, so it's not an issue.

I guess I'd rather see Yahoo! Answers turned into an 18+ forum with a separate forum created for under 18 (where they can ask ad nauseum about if they are really, if a boy actually likes them, etc.).

i have 1 contact who is 14. she is the only one i added. it's weird to have contacts who are minors...but i trust her

I don't know how old my contacts are on here, but I don't add minors to my myspace, in fact I only add family and friends I never get to see or talk to that often.

I'm 20 so I figure its okay besides I rarely ever ADD people ... Too many trolls .. But they can be my fans if they want

I'll add them on, because I frequent Comics and Animation. There input is useful, and sometimes better than the adults. I don't really have a policy, I just watch what I ask and answer.

I don't...no need to go there, plus I can be a bit crude.

that's the thing with the Internet though, for all you know every one of your contacts is 14....you just never know these days...plus u can't see through ur computer.....

I don't. Simple. I'm so not getting into trouble, and I can't watch my mouth. I have one. He's trustworthy. That's the exception though.

I have 1 minor, and she is 17, she's awesome!

As a rule, I will not add minors to my contacts list, but I do have two teens and they are both cool and I love their humour!

I don't unless I know them.

My daughter's friends have all added me to their MySpace, which peeves her off everytime she sees it, but then again, my MySpace isn't anything at all like my 360; so I don't mind.

I have not add anyone under 21 that I know of
MO

I don't add anyone who is not of age,not knowingly anyways. I do not want any trouble and I just don't feel it would be appropriate. I can be a little over the top with my questions and remarks sometimes.

I have several contacts on YA below the age of 16. I wouldn't decline them as fans because the content of my Q and As are suitable for all ages I think.

I don't add them because sometimes my answers or question are a little inappropriate and I don't think its right for the youngens to read. Even though I'm sure they read it anyway.
