Is there anyone else out there who is afraid of cats and/or dogs?!
Question: I am really afraid of cats. They are too quiet and sneaky. I do think dogs are cute, but I am terried of them. Is there anybody else out there like me?
P.S. I am also afraid of birds. Don't ask me why.

Maybe you experienced some sort of trauma with someone's pet when you were young?
I'm not afraid of them but there was this guy who was moving us and he was terrified of our cat. We had to put the cat in a kennel when the guy was packing stuff or he would completely freak out.
The last day the movers were there, we let the cat climb in the back of the moving van and he surprised the guy and I swear he ran faster than an olympian! I guess that was mean, but a grown man afraid of my 8lb cat is hilarious!!
my 8year old son is afraid of all dogs. i dont know how to fix that.

loll im not but a lot of my friends are and there's nothing wrong with that, soo don't worry bout it everyone has their own fears.

I'm exactly the same as you... well I was, until my parents bought us a dog. I love dogs now! I still get a little freaked out by cats, and birds are just revolting. My grandparents chickens frighten the life out of me!
My wife is afraid of dogs - all sizes/breeds. A friend of ours had a trembling little 16 year old miniature dachshund that had 3 teeth left - Mrs. Breid was convinced that it was going to "snap" and attack.
my friend is scared of my cats. she doesnt like coming to my house cuz she thinks my cats look evil ..... there big balls of mush!!! i dont get it! lol
A lot of people think black people are scared of house pets on a larger scale than other races due to their biological necesity for avoiding wildlife in their native place of evolution. It's not a racist comment because Austrailian people are more seceptible to be scared of dogs due to the vicious dingos in their countries, and many other people who evolve in isolation tend to have developed inbred fears.
I was afraid of dogs as a child, but not so much anymore. I like friendly dogs, but the vicious ones scare me. I like cats too, but the only thing that bothers me is their claws. I have had a few pet birds but I can see why some people are afraid of them. Like seagulls for example, they'll just dive right at you and that's scary.
