I do. It's easier to just toss stuff out, sure. But think about it like this-- you're doing your part to help save the planet, each and every time you recycle. And think about how much less waste there'd be if we all recycled? It costs no money to recycle, but garbage service does cost money (at least where I live). It's just irresponsible not to recycle at this point.

Yep, every Friday, I put the mingled recyclables dumpster out to be collected.
If you don't have recyclables picked up at your house, set aside one day a week to take them to your local recyclable center.

yes i recycle. its easy if you look at it like this.... for every can or bottle you recycle that is 5cents back in your pocket.
Yeah i try to recycle everything. I usually recycle all my paper and i always recycle the plastic stuff. If you want to make recycling easier then you just organize the stuff you want to recycle. if you have scrap paper just put it in a pile and put it in the recycling bin when you have enough paper. You could also do the same with plastic and glass bottles.

I have a recycling basket next to my trash can
I throw all cans in there and not just mine but I pick up any
that cross my path I also got my friends doing it
as well So I am not the only one who does it And that helps to remind you "support team"
Also you can put pictures on your wall from magazines
Like animals such as dolphins and bears and this will remind you, Who you are doing it for.
Recycle signs on your Fridge help as well.
Get creative and print a Recycle Memo Sign And stick it on your door. You can help even more if you write these tips down and make flyer's pass them out to the world for further helping.

When the bag is full I take it in usually every 2 weeks and I get
cash out of it! YAY!
I also bought a piggy bank where I put that money
So I am reminded even more

yes i do , ts required on the Army post we live on. They give us a blue bin and we put our glass, plastic and paper in one bin. They wont take boxes from things like frozen food, they wont take plastic such as laundry detergent bottles. If you look on the bottom of your bottles and such if there is a Recycling symbols then you can recycle it
Yes, save your can, also WATER is a big thing to recycle. When you turn on the shower you let all the water run and go to waste just to heat up. Do what i do, put a bucket in the shower where the water falls to catch most of the water, once it it heated remove the bucket, take your shower (Solar shower which means to turn your shower water off when you dont need it, e.g. when you soap your body) and use that saved water in the bucket to water the grass or wash your car, be creative. Also if you see a bottle on the ground pick it up, no shame in helping mother nature. Paper is also a biggy, dont just thow away paper becuase your not using it. use scraps as paper to write notes on. or tear off non used parts of paper and use them as flash cards, anything. Theres no specific rule to recycling, you just have to use something for more that its intending and never let anything go to waste. "The road to distruction is paved with throw away conviencies"

It really depends on what the waste removal organizations practices are. Some require you to use special containers for different types of recyclables and others bunch them all together and use special sorting systems at the waste intake facility.
Find out who collects refuse and recyclables in your community and contact them for the details.
Most likely, every thing you need to know can be found online by searching waste or trash collection and your city or county name.

i'm trying to...but when u go to the grocery store take your own bags or a tote, refill your water gallon jugs at the store (it's only a quater) instead of buying new ones, and make a practice to re-use things.
It's easy enough. Instead of throwing your tin cans, glass jars, plastic bottles, boxes, newspapers, magazines...in the garbage, throw them in your recycling bin. After a while, it'll become second nature. Ever since I started, I have less than half the garbage I used to!
