yeah, kids would always trade cards by the entrance stairs, and it got so out of hand, that the school started giving out detentions for trading the cards during school hours.

Well, in the world of 9 year olds, they're still popular. Ugh.
haha they got like banned at my school because people would trade cards for lunch and kids were getting in fights and stuff hahahah
i liked the anime, and for a while it was ok, but its old now and they need some new ideas.

ha yea i was in the 3rd grade. burger king was giving them out as the toys in their kids meals. all the cool kids had like 12 of them hanging on their backpacks. my family would go just to get those toys. they ended up selling out of them so many people went..they started giving out the crappy cards. i was so upset.. and then at recess every one played "pokemon"
