There's plenty of intelligent people that make nothing of themselves -- especially in office environments. And plenty of beautiful people that make far more money (studies abound, for this) and have MANY more doors open to them. Hate to be sexist/obtuse here... but a sexy/attractive woman can marry a millionaire (obviously) and a 180-IQ might be avoided like the plague. You think BRAD PITT can act? seriously? he got that orig. role because of his face/body in 'Telma/Louse'.. you think George Clooney would be making/steering movies.. if he didn't take an inch off his chin, over a decade ago?
While obviously, some areas require brains... you put a stunning lawyer next to a dumpy one, especially corporate law... and you'll find the beauty/handsome one is OUTEARNING the other one. A tall, blonde and leggy woman will be hired in a millisecond as a high-powered sales exec. for about anything/any product... and an intelligent woman, may never get passed the 1st 5 minutes of an interview. etc. etc.
