I buy a specific brand and never vary so if I really want bacon I don't bother looking at the cost. I have noticed that the kind I buy has come down in price a bit lately, though. I buy the Center Cut Oscar Mayer. 30% lower in fat and really tasty!

I absolutely LOVE bacon...I eat about 5-7 pieces with my breakfast, so no matter how much it cost (thick sliced) I'll be buying it..with my mom's debit card of course lol
Get yourself a pig. If you amputate a leg at a time it stays fresh for ages. After you have done 3 the pig does have trouble getting around.
I don't buy bacon from the store so I don't know anything about the price of it.
My family gets together every year and butchers our own cows, pigs, and chickens, so we get to decide how we want our bacon.....and we know exactly what goes into making our bacon.

I love bacon so effin much that I dont care what it costs, I buy it. I have had to walk a mile to work for the sake of bacon. I have to have the center cut bacon, and its pretty expensive. But as long as I get my bacon for every meal, Im pretty content.
I try to evaluate the bacon - the cheapest usually has more fat - so I'll buy the more expensive cuts (center cut, for example) to get better meat. There have been many times I'll skip buying it due to the cost. I just have BLT's a little less often!

I buy the same ,I don`t worry to much about the cost, I ussualy shoot my own meat;eg, rabbit , wood pigion,pheasant and occationaly venison. lots of free, wild,good meat ourt thereyou just need permission to shoot it and a fire arms license.
