My nephews face was paralyzed for like a month, and my sister and brother in law made him go to school anyway even though he couldn't talk. But I don't know if the wind had anything to with it.
It's one of the many scare tactics that adults use to scare children into doing what they want. Like most other scare tactics like that, it's all a huge lie.
