Contraire.. slugs are fascinating little critters, and they have a sex life that would make Madonna blush :o)
Another great little guy is the plasmodium slime mould. But we won't get into what he does :o)

Because they look like homeless snails. The leopard slugs here are huge - 2 - 3' long - and can mate for up to 9 hours at a time. Not bad for a slime bug.

its all that slime! i try to avoid them, not because they're ugly but because of the slime. i hate it when it rains and i have to use the walk way, they're all over the place and i don't want to kill them

Well last time I saw a slug slithering at my doorstep and the slug rang my doorbell and then I opened the door and the slug was gone. So the next day I saw the slug again and he rang my doorbell. I opened the door and I saw slurpee. It was a good day.

No- I really do like slugs- especialy the big banana slugs we have on the West coast- they're acually kind of cute with their eye poking out, crawling peacefully through the forest.
