What happened to the Walmart greeter?!
Question: Everytime I go to Wally World the greeter is some old person in the back of the cart corral. I think the carts are holding them in place. You almost wonder if they are real or not.

They are exected to stop a fleeing thief capable of carting off a tv that weighs twice as much as them? And they earn how much (rather 'little')?
I have no idea why they have those. A waste of money! I have to get my own cart anyway and half the time they dont greet me so what's the point in keeping them on the payroll? Like old ppl are going to catch a shoplifter if they start running!
I LOVE my walmart greeter.
He's been the greeter at my local walmart since I was 3 and he still remembers me.
He even knows when my birthday is...haha
We still have our greeters--oh wait. They probably transferred
them all here. na na na na na na LOL : }

Please, don't make fun of those wonderous old souls. They need to feel needed too and this helps them stay alive. I used to be a greeter and we do more than what you know....we are also shop lifter watchers....we also watch alot of things. Don't think they are useless cause I caught many shop lifters in my day..
