Actually, at the restuarant Home Town Buffet, they made the cups smaller increasing how many times you would normally get up for a drink.

yes i have noticed this my son bought me a very large coffee mug its good because you dont have to get up for the second cup it holds two cups... the only problem is i need 2 hands to hold it so i sometimed use a smaller one so i can drink and turn the pages in the newspaper
yes, the supply is greater than the demand. So they put that extra ounces of coffe and extra pennys you have to pay, they do it slowly so no one notices

yeah in North America, I guess people are working harder and long hours with less hours of sleep. that's probably why. you know, when you compare working in North America to Asian countries. Asian countries are harder working but they are mainly labour work as in North America it takes more experience becuase in North America everything is now a service sector wheras we have now outsourced most labour work to India and China. That's a little commerce for you. =]
yes i have its probably because more and more people are starting to drink coffee and they get addicted to it so they want more and more of it so they end up getting big cups to fix their craving
YES! they have some pretty big ones now! and when you look at old cups they are like triple the size

That's because people are drinking more and more coffee and if you are used to drinking like three cups a day or so then you will drink more that's from the coffee companies. These days so many people are like getting addicted or something I am just glad that I do not drink that stuff
americans are consuming more beverages. while 8oz or 1 cup is the recommended serving size per beverage we feel like its too small. my friend just went to KFC and they have a 1/2 gallon cup. thats a whole lot of calories. its like a whole meal plus desert. the only thing we should be drinking in large amounts is water.
