Do you get annoyed when u see bikers on the side of the road and not on the side!

Question: Here, if a biker is on the sidewalk, he or she ends up with a fine. They have to be on the side of the road.

Answers: Here, if a biker is on the sidewalk, he or she ends up with a fine. They have to be on the side of the road.

yes. sometimes I just want to run over them. cause there blocking the road..

They're supposed to be there, they just need to pay attention!

yes I do!!! and one time a cop told me they were not allowed on the sidewalk, only pedestrians walking were..wtf?? so they go in the road and get hit instead

In Oregon it is illegal for bicycles to be on the sidewalk. They must ride in the bike lanes.

Yeah, I do. But also, where I live it's illegal to bike on the sidewalk after a certain age.. i think it's 12 Unless it's a designated bike path

Most places I know of, it's against the law for them to ride on the sidewalks!

I absolutely Do! I hate it. I know it is harder for them to ride a bike on the sidewalk because it is bumpy there are often things in the way, and sometimes the sidewalk ends all of the sudden. But I still get irritated because it is dangerous, and I don't want them to get hit by a car, or cause an accident because someone is trying to stay out of their way.

not really

lol yea and i just feel like running them over
i dont think they have evr heard of a sidewalk before

yeaa i do, but i dont think their suppose to ride on the street

They have rights too.Sidewalks are for pedestrians.

When there is room to the side and they're not using it, yes. I drive as close as I possibly can and sometimes beep my horn when I'm right on them to scare the sh*t out of 'em

Did you say side of the road. Aparently you havent seen the bikers in my town. They are in the middle of the road with their stupid racing bikes because the roads are bumpy on the edges.

yes i fear for their lives!

Oh, yeah, especially at night. Our street was paved recently, and more people prefer to walk, play, and bike in the street instead of on the sidewalk. If you want to run up the risk of getting hit, be my guest.

No, I just pretend I'm drunk and use my car to smoosh them.

It's illegal to ride on the pavement... sorry 'sidewalk' over here.

I hate cycling on roads, and i hate driving past people on bikes - i'm always worried we'll hit them..

In Georgia you have to ride bikes with traffic but to the right, (Not actually in traffic) sidewalks are reserved for walkers. And if you hit a biker the automobile driver would likely be charged with reckless driving for not paying attention to others on the road.

Yes! They go down one of the streets where the speed limit is faster, too. It bothers me.

A bicycle is considered a vehicle, so it goes on the road.

Are you serious?? Bikes are supposed to be on the road. The sidewalk is for pedestrians, hence the word walk in it's title. Just last week I saw a biker hit a fire hydrant because he was dodging a pedestrian. It's perfectly safe for them to be on the road if they pay attention.

well it's the law that bikers be on the road (at a side), and not on the sidewalk. The sidewalks are for walking only and wheel chairs only.

Yes i do, there going to cause a serious accident one day. There are paths for that reason.
