Is it against the law to drive the speed limit???!
Question: I drive the speed limit (35mph) on the main road and 25mph on my street all the time. Then all of the sudden I have this hemorroid car on my *** and they are mad at me for being in their way and going too slow. I really hate that. Slow down and enjoy the ride and the scenery.

People today are in such a hurry that they forget that speed limits are posted for a reason. Duh!!! I experience the same thing as you quite often but I'm not going to speed up just for them. Maybe they should leave earlier so they won't have to be so impatient when behind someone who is abiding by the laws. :)
Yeah, I get that a lot here, too. I just drive even slower to really p!ss them off, lol.

I hate those hemorrhoids. You are driving the right way. If they are in such a hurry and you have the space, pull over and let them pass. Don't speed up because you will end up with a ticket.
Whenever people do that to me, i either slow down and annoy the hell outta them or flick my cigarette at thier car...makes em back off

No it's not. Some of the speeders are the ones who cause accidents. It never killed anyone to slow down.

I would just ignore them. Being a jackass myself, I would drive slower. Let them stew! My husband is horribly impatient. If someone rides his butt, he throws pennies.

its not... but its really annoying to people who have somewhere to be. So, just be kind and pull over. Let them (well, us.. cuz I hate when someone in front of me is going exactly the speed limit) by... many times I see this after the school buses and soccer moms with nowhere to go til their kids get off the bus. Me, I am one of those mothers that has to go to work after putting my daughter on the bus. In a nutshell... GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!
i know what you mean.. if im not atleast going 10 over i get a honk and a finger.. just ignore them their the ones that will have to deal with the ticket. like when this guy was mad at me for goin 5 over instead of 20 he sped up around me and i passed him later pulled over by a cop. i had a good laugh about it.
This question is a bit opionaitated but, it is totalally legal to drive the speed limit. I personnely think in the state of Maine and most states they allow you to go 5 miles over the speed limits. I hope your talking miles and not kilometers or some Europe metro meter... Stuff...

It is not against the law to go the speed limit and no faster, but there is a law against holding up traffic. Sometimes you just have to pull over and let the speed demons go by. There is always someone who want to go faster than the speed limit it seems and it is up to the Highway Patrol to catch them. It is not up to other drivers to make them slow down by impeding traffic.
The roads are full of people who are on different days in their lives.
Today your out for a nice drive, in no rush to get anywhere.
Tomorrow you maybe trying to rush a baby to emergency.

Yes you can get a ticket. For example, if your driving on the freeway and doing the speed limit but most people are driving faster than you, you are in the way, you can get ticketed. You have to drive safe and effectively.
No not against law of course...but if a car gets on your ____ then just pull to the side and let them pass. Usually you can tell if they desperately need by. They could have an emergency like the need to go to the bathroom or have a sick child to get to or in the car. So it's not against the law but be aware of someone who may need to go faster =)
I drive the speed limit too, and if aggressive drivers don't like it, then they can pass and get the ticket. I commend you for behaving because I've seen some really ugly accidents in my line of work, and I wish some of these aggressive drivers could see the photos! They'd think twice about speeding and driving like they're so much more important than everyone else on the road. You are a mature and sensible individual!
