yes they do... and then they start chasing somehing thats not there and they break stuff

I think cats can see spirits. There are a lot of cultures who believe cats keep spirits away. Maybe they do this by giving them the old kitty stare down.

Mine does that too, but I live in an apartment building and I think he is just hearing movement in the building.
Yes~ It happens all the time! It scares me! PPl say that animals sense evil. My Chihuahua Roxy does it too :S
My chihuahua does that. Except he'll bark too. He did that last night. He kept staring at the ceiling(precise spot) and barking. He was freaking me out.

Yeah, all of my cats stare at something. I always assume it's a spiderweb or a bug, but spirits wouldn't be far from it. That would explain why I heard five thousand people run up and down the stairs with my little kitty, lol.

i know! they're so weird, cats. i always try to see what they see but i never see anything. sometimes its a bug on the wall. i think that its bc their eyes are different from ours and they see things that we don't.
