i never say cross my heart - to me that's what little kids say when they lie - i would be guilty if i said it
sometimes, but i only remember saying that back in 4th grade when it was "THE" phrase
everyone said it whether they were lying or not
sometimes u are but most of the time you are just being honest
MOST of the time you are not telling the whole truth but a version of the truth - kinda of like a a little white lie that really isn't going to hurt anyone but then again there is always that 1% of the time when you really are being truthful but no one seems to think you are telling the truth. Go figure.....
No, you just need a higher power to back you up. Crossing your hear is swearing that you are telling the truth on the cross. And naturally God will get all liars. So it must be the truth.
