Last week my brother lost his little girl it was the hardest thing that he ever had to face in his life and now he's been down every since and i just want ed some good ideas.

when i lost my little boy 10 yrs ago i thought i would never get over it ,and now i still do have problems, but it was for the best as he had spinal bifider and the back of the head was not formed, but how did i get over it ,,,one day at a time and a lot of love from my family and friends, I also know he has come back in spirit form to keep me company, so really it takes a lot of time to get over it,,, hopes this helps.

I hangout with my friends and do other things to get my mind off of whoever it was.

there really isnt much he can do. .just takes time

I dont think you could ever get over one that is that close to you...you jus have to take it day by day..and find somethin to do that will take his mind off of it

Tell him jokes! make him a big peanut butter sandwich and a tall glass of milk it will cure the blues or peanut butter cookies!

wow I am so sorry...
something like that he may never ever get over which is understandable (I wouldnt get over it), just be there to lend an ear or shoulder, dont try to get his mind off of it, only time will heal him. once again Im so sorry every time I hear of a loss of a child I want to cry so I wish you guys the best.

that's gonna take some serious time. I have two kids, and can't imagine what it would feel like to loose one. Just be there as a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen to him. And concentrate on the good things. My sympathies to your family and to your brother.

oh im really sorry to hear that, well its really hard to loose someone close, my grandma passed away and its almost a year since her death and i still cant get it over with!
maybe he should go on a vacation?

First of all I'm sorry for the loss...Things get better with time...Keep busy to keep his mind off things, some people like having company since it helps distract them pick up a hobby anything of interest. With time it will get better Hope this helps

that i so sad. Everyone has different ways of dealing with death .I will pray for you all..

Someone to understand you....
When someone I know close to me died.... All I wanted was someone to know that I wasn't alone and that Someone knew how I felt..... Just someone offering a shoulder to cry on....
It's very hard loosing someone close to you, I can't even imagine how your brother feels.... Just let him know that she is in much better a condition now than she was here.... Let him know that all he can do now is make her proud and do what he can in her memorie!!! He needs support and release..... give it to him!!!
And I am very sorry for your familys loss!!!!

Thoughtfully, Nick

in this scenario, i would definitely keep in touch with my family members,so they'd help me move on and i'd also pray so that GOD can help me move on with my life and understand that things will soon be better.

-sorry for your brother's loss
